The African Research Visibility Initiative (AfricaRVI) hosts the African Scholarship Citation Index (ASCI), the upcoming African Scholarly Publishing Platform (ASPP), and the African Scholarly Submission and Review System (ASS&RS) — a growing suite of digital infrastructure designed to strengthen research in Africa. Together, these platforms provide seamless discovery, publishing, and submission pathways that elevate the visibility, accessibility, and global impact of African scholarship.
ASCI indexes journals selected by disciplinary editorial teams composed of experienced and influential researchers—based in Africa or internationally—who possess deep expertise in the African research context. Journal selection follows a transparent and rigorous evaluation process, and all outcomes of this process are publicly accessible.
